We’re a family-run garage based in Rugby, and we’ve been looking after local vehicles for over 20 years. The garage has been under its current ownership for two years, and in that time we’ve stayed true to what made Abbey Motor Services a trusted name in the first place: honest advice, quality work, and a team that actually talks to you.

One thing our customers consistently mention is communication – we won’t leave you waiting and wondering. Throughout your vehicle’s time with us, we send updates, photos, and videos so you always know what’s been found and what we’re doing about it. It’s the kind of service you’d hope for but don’t always get, and we think it makes a real difference.

What we do

Our team of five qualified technicians handles MOTs, servicing, brakes, wheel alignment, and more, across most makes and models, including EVs. We follow manufacturer service schedules for vehicles still under warranty, so your warranty stays intact. For post-warranty vehicles, we recommend servicing every 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, and offer interim, full, and major service options in-house.

Abbey Motor Services is one of only two garages in Rugby to hold ‘Proud to Use Castrol’ status, and we’re accredited by the IMI, both of which reflect the standards we hold ourselves to every day.

Finding us and getting here

We’re based in Rugby with ample parking on site, a comfortable reception and waiting area with free Wi-Fi, refreshments, and customer facilities. If you’re commuting or just prefer not to wait, Rugby train station is a two-minute walk and the town centre is around ten minutes on foot. We also offer a collection and delivery service within a three-mile radius of the garage, subject to availability, for a flat fee of £10 for the return trip.
